Your child's face is not our product.

The book needs it. Nobody else does. Four promises, in plain words.

  • It stays in Europe.

    Your photos, the voice samples and the finished book live on servers under EU jurisdiction. They are never copied to our other shops.

  • It never becomes training data.

    The photo goes to the service that draws your child, the voice sample to the one that reads the lines. Neither is allowed to learn from them.

  • Nobody is watching you shop.

    No analytics, no advertising cookies, no face recognition. Essential cookies only, and that is the whole list.

  • It goes when you say so.

    You choose who appears in the book. Once it has arrived, ask us and the original photos and recordings are deleted.

From book choice to a finished story in four steps

  1. Choose a book

    Explore personalized storybooks and educational books for mathematics, language, bedtime, family moments, and adventure.

  2. Personalize the characters

    We replace the original characters with recognizable storybook interpretations of your child, family members, or other people included in the story.

  3. Add familiar voices

    For interactive books you can record short voice samples, with your consent. From them an AI creates familiar voices for the narration and the characters' lines.

  4. Checked, printed, read together

    Before anything is printed, a person here checks every picture and every voice in your book. Then it is printed and posted to you. For the interactive titles, the Löwenbuch app is an optional addition to reading together.

Your book is made on demand by a professional photo-book producer: the small editions on real photographic paper with a lay-flat binding, the 20 × 20 cm one as a hardcover in high-quality digital print. We repeat only what our producer documents.

We make no untested claims about inks or toy safety — this is a picture book for reading together, not a toy. How your photos are used and how long we keep them is explained before you order.

FAQ

Can I preview the book before I buy?

Yes. Every book page shows sample spreads with the text as it will be printed. Before your own copy is printed, a person here checks it, picture by picture.

Will the character look exactly like my child?

We create a recognizable illustrated interpretation rather than a photographic copy.

Do all books include the same features?

No. Features such as audio, animation, and AR are shown per book.
