Child Data and AI Transparency

1. For parents and authorised adults

Löwenbuch is an adult-facing service. Children must not create accounts, place orders or independently upload media. The adult customer must have parental responsibility or other documented authority.

2. How AI is used

Depending on the level, we use AI to:

• transform uploaded photographs into drawn characters in the style of the book (Klassik and Premium);
• create short page videos from the finished pages (Premium);
• create or adapt stories from customer instructions;
• create a replica of an authorised voice recording that reads the book’s text aloud (Premium only, only for that order);
• adjust quality, crop, background or style;
• detect harmful or prohibited uploads.

AI output can contain errors, unexpected features or bias. Review previews carefully and report inappropriate output to [email protected].

3. Labelling AI-generated content

Illustrations and audio may be artificially generated or manipulated. We disclose this before purchase, in previews and appropriately in the final product. Since 2 August 2026 the transparency obligations of the EU AI Act (Article 50) also apply, including for AI-generated or manipulated image, audio and video that may appear authentic.

Statement in books and digital content:

This personalised work contains text, illustrations and/or audio generated or edited using artificial intelligence from information and media supplied by the customer.

4. No identity recognition or general training

We do not use photographs or voices for facial recognition, voice authentication or identity matching. Customer media is not used to train our own or third-party AI models. For orders we use only the AI providers named in the Privacy Notice.

5. Data minimisation

Upload only media needed for the product. Do not include identity documents, addresses, school names, location data, health information or intimate situations. Metadata is removed or disregarded where technically feasible.

6. Publication and sharing

Personalised products are intended for private use. Before public posting, adults should consider that a book, PDF or audio may reveal a child’s identity or voice. Public or promotional use may require additional permission.

7. Deletion and help

Requests to delete, correct or stop processing may be sent to [email protected]. We may require evidence of parental responsibility or authority to protect the child.
